MY JOURNEY INTO MY DIVINE CALLING AND PURPOSE

My journey has been written through decades of learning, building, serving, growing, and answering God’s call on my life. For more than three decades,

I have worked in caregiving and home care, serving seniors and families in nursing homes and private homes while gaining experience that would eventually prepare me to become a business owner and build a company of my own. Along the way, God continued to expand me beyond the work that was directly in front of me. I returned to school to study human resource management and pursued additional education in writing, Alzheimer’s disease, end-of-life support, and other areas of professional development.

I attended Bible college, became a women’s ministry leader, taught Bible study through online ministry, and continued growing in my understanding of Scripture and spiritual leadership.

Service has also been woven throughout my journey. I have volunteered in homeless shelters and food banks, and there were seasons when serving others was as personal and simple as feeding people who were homeless from my own front porch. Those experiences taught me things that could never have been learned in a classroom. They deepened my understanding of people, dignity, compassion, stewardship, and what it means to serve when there is nothing to gain from being seen doing it.

My journey also brought seasons when I had to face illness in my own life. After spending so many years caring for others, I found myself confronting my own vulnerability, limitations, and uncertainty. Illness changed the way I understood life, faith, strength, and the value of time. It brought me into places where I had to depend on God in ways I had not before, and it deepened my understanding of what it means to keep walking in purpose even when life does not unfold the way you expected.

There were waiting seasons, unexpected turns, closed doors, new beginnings, and moments when I did not fully understand where the road was leading. Yet each season was forming something in me.

My education, professional experience, ministry, business ownership, service, and even the waiting became part of my preparation.

Today, I understand my journey differently. God was not simply leading me toward something to do. He was developing the woman

I needed to become to carry what He placed within me.

That understanding is at the heart of why I serve women today.

I know what it means to have gifts that are still unfolding, to continue growing through different seasons of life, and to discover that experiences that once seemed disconnected were preparing you for your divine calling and purpose.

My journey is still being written, and perhaps yours is too.

My prayer is that as I share what I have learned, built, overcome, and discovered along the way, you will be encouraged to embrace and reveal the gifts God has placed within you and rise into the woman you were created to be.
